Module 1: Cacao origins
Month one is all about building a deep connection with this ancient plant (by drinking cacao daily, while learning about where it comes from).
You'll learn:
- its origins
- different cacao varieties
- how to choose the best cacao for spiritual or and energetic practices
- how to make your own cacao from scratch using beans
You'll be sent your own cacao kit with 13 varieties of cacao from all over the world, cacao bean and husks - so you can get incredibly familiar with different cacao types.
Month 2: Biochemistry
In the second month, you'll dive into the science and safety of cacao.
You'll learn:
- about its active compounds
- how they affect the body
- cacao safety, side effects and contraindications
- how to assess cacao’s quality by taste and appearance
Month 3: Rituals and regimes
In the final month, you'll learn practical ways to work with cacao, whether in breathwork, coaching, sound healing or something else.
You'll learn:
- modern Andean and Mayan cacao rituals
- dosing (microdose, daily dose and ceremonial dose)
- preparation techniques
- how to overcome challenges when serving cacao
